FAQs and Frequent Questions

1. What do you need to review my manuscript?

Please send the first three chapters of your completed manuscript in 12-point Georgia or Times New Roman font, double-spaced. See our submissions page for more information.

2. Will I receive a physical copy of my book?

You will receive a physical copy of your book called a proof copy. After you have reviewed the cover and interior and made sure that everything is satisfactory and free of grammatical errors, we will okay your book for uploading. If later, you find errors in the book that you would like changed; there will be a fee.

3. What platforms will my books be sold?

Your choice of Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing, ACX audio, Findaway Voices, or Ingram sparks distribution network. Depending on your preference, eBook, paperback, hardcover, audio, or all the above.  Authors receive 100 % of their royalties and are in charge of their own Amazon and or Ingram Sparks accounts.

4. What are the rules for quoting other sources in my book? Please visit the U.S. government copyright website. One must obtain permission for anything not in the public domain, directly from the original source or publisher if the quoted text is over: 250 words quoted from a book and 100 words quoted from an article. Bible translations must be given credit and must not exceed 100 verses, but some publishers will not accept anything over 50. All sources must be referenced. Quoting anyone's work means copying a passage of someone else’s words and crediting the source to avoid plagiarism.

5. How long does the publishing process take?

Honestly, each case is different because all books are different. Some authors have a completed manuscript that needs minimal editing; others may need developmental editing or Line Editing. Or graphics, illustrations, or even a ghostwriter. You may have a cover design you envision, a photo, painting, or some creative picture ready, or you might be drawing a blank. Once your book is ready to upload, the process will go much quicker.

6. What do you charge?

We charge case by case, pending the needs of the author.  If you have already edited your manuscript, or created a cover design, the cost would be different than for someone who needed more or wanted to include extras.
