Please provide us with the following information:

1. The working title of your book, along with a brief description (no more than a few sentences) of the purpose or theme of your book and the total word count. 
2. Include the first three chapters in 12-point Georgia or Times New Roman font, double-spaced.
3. If you haven’t yet finished the work but would like to know if it would be something we are interested in before completing, then you are also welcome to send samples of the manuscript.
4. If this is a children's book, do you require illustrations.
5. We require five poems as a sample, and then if they pass the initial review, we request at least 25 to make a collection.
6. Who is the target audience for your book? 
7. Is this your first-time publishing?
8. Do you have a timeline or date by which you need the book completed?
9. Please give us your name, telephone number, and e-mail address.

Because we are a small publishing company in the infantile stages, we regret that we cannot accept every manuscript we receive. Rejection usually has nothing to do with the quality of your writing – rather, us having the time and resources to take on the project. 

We also choose the right to publish and/or feature specific authors on our website, but that does not guarantee all authors will be listed depending on topics and genres. Manning the Gate Publishing does not accept manuscripts that have been previously published. We do not accept manuscripts written by children without adult consent.
