1. We will read your manuscript slowly with careful attention to detail to see what type of editing your book requires. Please see our submission guidelines.
2. A phone consult is to follow to discuss your book, how you envision going forward, and your desires and needs as an author. 
3. Manning the Gate offers:

• Ebook, paperback, hardcover, and audio options. 

4. A registered copyright is a public record of your ownership and protects your work. You own the rights to the words as soon as they're written, but that does not mean others won't try to pirate your work. 

5. Once your book creation and editing process are complete, we will send you a proof copy to look over for any errors or changes you might see needed. Then once you give us the go-ahead, we will publish your work on the platforms you desire. 

6. An added feature Manning the Gate offers involves tools to navigate your author page, ways to acquire book reviews, and share your new release with others through podcasts, radio shows, book clubs, or other venues. You'll come away with the tools needed to change the pricing of your books, offer book deals, run ads to promote your book, launch your book, and get it into as many hands as possible. Also, Manning, the Gate will offer personalized merchandise you will need at your first book signing, like business cards, book markers, pens, and other items to help make your book unforgettable.
